Caves of Qud Showcase ( Complete )
Detailed indie RPG set in an alternative post apocalyptic world where technology has taken on the guise of magic and mutants struggle for survival beside the remnants of humanity. Don't be fooled by the ASCII graphics. This game is detailed and atmospheric in it's presentation. Get it from Freehold Entertainment and embark upon an adventure to discover the identity of the makers.

Space Rangers 2 ReBoot ( Current )
Overlooked Classic of a game that features 2D 'roguelike' space exploration, trading and combat sections with Arcade style mini-games in black holes. Text based missions and 3D RTS planetary ground battles.
The major sentient races of the galaxy are at war with the mechanical 'Dominators' and as a lowly, newly recruited Space Ranger you play your part in the war. The galaxy remains dynamic however, and you are not confined to a main plot line, rather presented with a sandbox universe in which you are free to survive and prosper in any way you see fit. Planetary systems are conquered and liberated independently of your actions although you may be directly involved in the liberation of a system if you wish.
It is the free form nature of this game that may put many players off as there is little direction from the absence of a main plot line. But, if sandbox gaming is your thing, you will find this game endlessly challenging and re playable.

I've also added a new page for the top 5 fantasy rogue likes ( in my opinion :) - Oh My Elona! which will include game resource /download links, in game screen shots and links to a series of 'long haul', extended let's play videos i will be posting to my you tube channel. This page will also be updated as and when i find the time, so check back often! Enjoy :D

Finally found time to add a more personal page 'Life & Games' which answers a few questions. Mainly so i can refer people here instead of constantly answering the same things. It's also a bit of a 'soapbox' page and i might rant a bit - Be Warned!
There's also a separate RPG page - 'Rock'n'Role' in which i will feature LP's of my top five, similar to the page on top 5 rogue likes. I'll update this when i start LP's and sort the associated recording problems out. At the moment the page is just a placeholder with some ideas on it.

Added a new playlist of a free form space combat and exploration simulator called Evochron Mercenary.
The game takes inspiration from most of the great space sim. games such as Privateer, Freelancer and I-war 2. Review and Screenies coming soon on the reviews page. Follow links on the videos to the community forum and official website for more info.
